Exciting Partnership Brings Real-World Experience to Hamilton High School CTE Medical Students

Through this initiative, eleven outstanding second-year students will gain invaluable hands-on experience in the healthcare field.

Starting this December, these students will volunteer every Monday at the hospital, proudly wearing their distinctive purple uniforms. They will have the opportunity to support healthcare teams in various departments, contributing to essential tasks such as infection control procedures, pre-hospital emergency care, patient intake and vital sign monitoring, assisting with medical procedures, patient positioning and transfer support and documentation and effective communication.

Each student earned this opportunity through a rigorous selection process that included submitting personal statements, resumes, and interview videos. Their preparation and dedication highlight their passion for healthcare and their readiness to excel in this program.

This groundbreaking partnership was made possible with the support of the district, which provides transportation for students to participate weekly. The collaboration represents a shared commitment to fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals by offering meaningful, real-world experiences. Hamilton High School and Temecula Valley Hospital are proud to work together in creating a transformative opportunity for students to develop skills and make meaningful contributions to their community.
