Dear HUSD Families,
We are aware of the current wind conditions and understand there may be power outages in our area. Please rest assured that our schools will be open tomorrow as scheduled.
In the event of a power outage, our outlying schools (Idyllwild, Cottonwood, Hamilton Elementary and Hamilton Secondary) are fully prepared to operate using their backup generators to ensure a safe and productive day for all students and staff.
As always, we encourage everyone to remain safe and vigilant while traveling, as wind and changing road conditions may impact your commute. Please prioritize your safety and allow extra time if needed.
